Kotri Barrage, Sindh

The Kotri Barage, Sindh also known as Ghulam Mohammad Barrage was built & opened in 1955.

It is about 1.0 km long.

The barrage has canals which provide cultivation water to vast tract of lands in Hyderabad Region.

The Barage also provides waterv to Kalri Lake which is the main source of water for Karachi.

Paktravelism.com is a good website, I liked it. please make a little correction. the picture in this post is not of the Kotri barrage but it is of kotri bridge.
