This building, Wazir Mansion is the birthplace of Quaid-e-Azam, Mohammad Ali Jinnah, the founder of Pakistan.

It is situated in Kharadar (a locality in Old City Area of Karachi).

Now this buiding is protected national monument & is converted to a museum and national archive where personal belongings of Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah are at display for public.

Mazar-e-Quaid, Karachi

Mazar-e-Quaid is the tomb of founder of Pakistan, Muhammad Ali Jinnah.

It is situated at the heart of city.
 
The Mausoleum building was designed by Yahya Merchant and completed in 1960.
 
The Mausoleum is also the burial place of Quaid-e-Azam's sister Mohtarma Fatima Jinnah & 1st Prime Minister Liaquat Ali Khan.
 
It is made of white marble with curved Moorish arches and copper grills which can be seen glowing for miles at night.

Khaliq Deena Hall, Karachi

Ghulam Hussain Khaliq Deena Hall was constructed in Year 1906.

 
A well known philanthropist from Khoja community donated the money to provide a lierary platform for karachi people. The remaining amount was provided by karachi Municpal corporation.
 
It is located on M.A Jinnah Road and its high podium, iconic portico, grecian Style pediment surely mesmerizes everyone who whizes past it.

Karachi Zoo

The historical Karachi Zoo was established in 1878 and was known as Gandhi Garden for a long time.

After creation of Pakistan its name was changed to Karachi Zoological Garden.
 
There are 165 mammals, 460 birds and 210 reptiles in the zoo, making the total number 835.
 
Natural History Museum:
There is a Natural Museum having a good collection of Indigenous as well as exotic stuffed animals belonging to different regions of the world.
 
Reptile House:
It is one of the best Reptile Houses in Pakistan. There are many species of snakes and lizards. 
 
Mughal Garden:
The lush green lawns with seasonal scanted plants, occupy major part of the garden. Its beauty & elegance is the centrally located mughal fountaion with Baradari.

Frere Hall, Karachi

Frere Hall is an integral part of Karachi’s heritage and culture.

The Hall is located between Abdullah Haroon Road and Fatima Jinnah Road. 
 
It was built by  Sir Bartle Frere (Sindh Commissioner 1851-1859) and inaugrated by Commissioner Mansfield in 1865. 
The Gothic style construction was designed by Colonel Clair Wilkins.
 
Frere hall was used as a Town Hall in British Rule.

Kharphocho Fort, Skardu

The great Kharpocho Fort was built by Ali Sher Khan Anchan who ruled Skardu (1560 – 1625 AD).

 

The Fort Kharpocho, meaning King of Forts is situated on a hill overlooking the town.

There are two Kachura Lakes around 18 kms before Skardu Lower Kachura and Upper Kachura.
Upper Kachura is pure serene beauty, surrounded by snow capped mountains in winter

The lake is famous for trout fishing & has facility of boating.

A few resturants are also there who serve locally catched trouts & snacks.
