Darkot Pass is a high mountain pass (elevation 15430 feet) that connects Broghil Valley in Chitral to Ghizar Valley in Gilgit.
The pass is located at a distance of 16 kilometers east of koyo Zum Peak (6872 meters), the highest peak in Ghizer District.
En-route to the pass is Darkot Glacier, twelve kilometers towards south is Darkot Village along River Darkot which is a tributary of Ghizer River. On the northern side of the pass is Yarkhoon River Valley of Chitral. The Chilmarabad village is situated at a distance of 2 kilometers south of Broghil Pass.
