Chillinji Pass at a height of 17530 feet is a high mountain pass which is the closest natural path between upper Gilgit and Hunza.

The pass connects karomber river valley (upper gilgit) in Ishkoman tehsil of Ghizer district with Chaprusan river valley of upper Hunza.

It is located at a distance of nine kilometers in north of Koz Sar peak; in south is Imit village; towards west is karomber river (known as ishkoman river) which joins ghizer river at Ghakuch to become gilgit river. On the east is Chaprusan River that flows south east and joins Hunza River at khudabad on Karakorum Highway.
Chillinji Pass is part of a famous, strenuous trek  attempted by trekkers/hikers in this region.
