Subject : Cameras and Related Equipment Suggestions
Hey everyone.

Every now and then I get a lot of queries about which camera to buy, which equipment is better and what not. Although I'm not a very good photographer myself, I just have a love for gadgets and cameras are gadgets too so I read up on that a lot and survey electronic markets just for fun (I know I need to get a life but whatever )

Anyhoo, the reason for this topic is that if you are in market to buy a camera or stuff you can post your query here and I, along with VC and Momin would try to guide you people on what to buy and what not to buy.

Although with Momin and VC on board the discussion would go in favor of Nikon, but that's just an assumption. Let's see...

The D7000 with the new 18-300 lens is an excellent combo for most situations.

Let's see the photographs from Olympics this year. You would only see white barrels in the pavilion where photographers are seated

Traitor!

Just kidding, I was just being facetious.

Yup, it all comes down to personal preference in the end. I like many of the features in canon cameras.

Get the 18-105 kit lens, and just add the 70-300 mm later.
