Congratulaions, that is quite a big lens. I have used the 70-300 and on the 300mm with a crop factor it has immense reach. Great for bird shots and also the occasional perv shooting. :P

Its always better to have 1 lens which serves all the focal lengths specially on unplanned trips.

Once I took only my 70-200 on a trip with friends, and it was hard to get their portraits with the landscapes behind.. they thought the bigger the lens the bigger the coverage they will get lol... although they loves the photos but there was no landscape in them :/

Lets roll out some test shots, and also how is the build quality n speed of the new baby ?

Seriosly its time to move to Nikon
Nikon Lens,s quality is better then normal lenses of Canon
Vcheng can you share how much it will cost here ? Secondly upload some Testing Pictures as soon as possible That I can decide that its the right time to move to Nikon D7000 with This Verstyle Lens

ifoo you never replayed about the asking price of the 600d.

I think it makes for a great walkabout lens. The camera still feels balanced and manageable. One thing I really liked was the ability to take shots of insects etc on a walk without needing to get too close. Some more test shots with the lens will follow.
