In the charming little town of Hammondsport in upstate New York State lies a gem of a museum dedicated to the legendary Glenn H. Curtiss (and local history), known as the Father of Naval Aviation in the United States, holder of Pilot Licence #1.

The Curtiss-Wright CW-1 Junior was one of the first successful light sports aircraft built for private use. First flown in 1931, several are still flying:
