Subject : Meteor Shower @ Mirpur Sakro near Thatta
Every year in mid-to-late October, Earth passes through a stream of dusty debris from Comet Halley and the pre-dawn sky lights up with a pretty display of shooting stars.
NASA's Meteoroid Environment Office said “With no Moon to spoil the show, about 25 meteors per hour shower will peak on Sunday morning, Oct 21st travelling at a speed of 148,000 mph.
So here we were in Mirpur Sakro near Thatta to observe this activity.
It was a fun filled trip although Meteor Shower was below expectations.
Passengers were:

18. Sajjad AhmadWe left Karachi on 20th October 2012 @ 1400 hrs & reached Mir Pur Sakro @ 1630 hrs. The place is farmland of Hanif Bhai’s family.
Thanks Hanif Bhai for the arrangement at site.
Thanks Shahab Bhai for arranging the dinner. Our return journey was on 21st October @ 100 hrs & we were back home @ 1200 hrs.
