Subject : On the road in their G-Wagon since 1989
Wow! On the road since 1989 and G-Wagen moves them on even today without any serious break down. And you know what, your exotic G63 or 65 would make them financially broke within days and would never move on. The olden 280 G-wagens (I think it were those) were the deal.[www.bbc.co.uk] Who amongst want to do that? I want! The truth of the matter is they earn in a currency which is ALOT MORE valuable than ours. So the most popular countries are cheap and that's how they easily survive there. We on the other hand have to earn like ten folds to be able to do that or, earn in dollars/euros.

When I was a kid, met a couple from Germany who came to Pakistan by road on a Mercedes Benz
no likes.

W123s are more Europe's answer to Indus. In fact, indus corolla is not even close to w123 Mercedes Benz's when it comes to reliability and durability. And you're still a kid. Only kids would ditch proper roads and travel on off road terrain for 200 kms to get somewhere where a proper road goes. :P
